S14 SILVIA 200SX - INTAKE UPGRADE

INTAKE UPGRADE S14 SILVIA - 200SX

Partially documenting my S14 build would be great for the sake of the cars memoirs, so lets get straight to it. Had these parts sitting for ages. Time to complete Silvia project...

The ingredients :
S14 Silvia Trust Greddy Intake Plenum
N15 Pulsar SR16ve 70mm throttle body with TPS sensor
Tomei Adaptors
S15 Fuel Rail Nismo 555cc Injectors
SAMCO hoses

Yeah those injectors are meant to support either an HKS GTss turbo or a Garrett Gt2871R. Problem with the existing nismo fuel pressure regulator leaking fuel. The S15 rail looks like it has an adequate FPR. So might just chuck the nismo one.
Going to replace the ignitor switch while this is in the mix &
see if that solves the jerking problem under boost. Though I suspect it might be the AFM. Which will soon be replaced by a Z32 MAF. Also looking to rid the greddy supplementary overflow tank - just no difference there. It was meant to make things run a little cooler. Also a complete replacement Samco silicone water piping kit for radiator & fan hoses in the works here. The car already has a Koyo radiator fitted and a cheapie eBay intercooler which will be replaced by a HPI one. Yes HPI the manufactures of that elusive nismo 6 speed gearbox (one day...).

Ok so some pics of the manifold which is meant to be flowed to port match the N15 throttle.

Tomei makes a quality adaptor for the Throttle - attached:
Out by about 2-3mm needs a bit of flowing...

Sent the Plenum to Cam Tech & got the inlet flowed to 70mm. Decent job!!  Outlet ports also smoothed out:

Ports Smoothed put - should add a couple watts :)

Next Step - maybe getting the injectors flow tested:
